His presentation touched on moments in Queen’s career, reinforced by the archival photos in 3D. He noted most comically the exploits of the band beginning with their formation . . . thru Freddie’s tragedy . . . onto touring without the great singer . . . the days with Paul Rodgers . . . to today (as the band has a break in their current tour with Adam Lambert leading the vocals).

In a private screening room at Disney Studios an audience of 200 people ooohed and aaawed as Brian, self deprecatingly flipped through truly historic stereoscopic images

The LA 3-D Club was invited to the ievent and provided additional depth during the Q&A

As May says, the 3D photos show more details, more richness in information, than mono photographs do.  3D has a peculiar reality and presence that strongly evokes memories of past events and people.  This book is a treasure trove for fans of Queen and for fans of stereoscopic photography.

Queen in 3-D.

Stereoscopic 3D photography, has been an interest since May’s childhood in England.  It all started as Brian collected stereo photo cards in cereal boxes and sending in box tops to receive a stereo viewer.  He’s been hooked on 3D photography ever since and has published several books on the subject before.
